Jim Russo to Speak on "Understanding the Spectrum From Investment Consultant to OCIO" at JFNA Investment Institute

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY, February 1, 2017 - Colonial Consulting, LLC, a leading investment advisor with a core focus on non-profits, is pleased to announce that Managing Director and Consultant Jim Russo will be presenting at the JFNA Investment Institute held by the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). The event will take place Feb 12 - 15 at the PGA Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The biennial JFNA Investment Institute, founded in 2001, is the premier event for leaders from Jewish Federations and Jewish Community Foundations who want to deepen their understanding of the critical factors that affect portfolio performance and preservation in today鈥檚 volatile market environment. The Investment Institute is an invitation-only event open to investment committee chairs and members, chief financial officers, senior endowment professionals, leading financial service providers, high net worth donors, private foundation trustees and academics. This is the only conference in the Jewish community that provides access to top-level expertise on investment management and best practices for foundation and endowment stewardship and governance.

Mr. Russo will be speaking at a panel about "Understanding the Spectrum From Investment Consultant to OCIO". The session examines the advantages and challenges across the range of: non-discretionary consulting, using a mixed/hybrid consultant/OCIO model, to a fully discretionary OCIO option for foundations and families. The role of the investment committee, fiduciary responsibility, customization vs. 鈥渟ingle solution鈥 models, fees, reporting, degrees of service, potential conflicts and other nuances of each type of relationship will be covered. The panel will be moderated by Ahron Herring, Chief Investment Officer of Yeshiva University. Joining Mr. Russo on the panel will be Joel Mangham, Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Mangham Associates and Steven F. Charlton, Director of Consulting Services, NEPC.

Additional information regarding the conference can be found at the conference web site at http://www.jfnainvestmentinstitute.org.
