Angela Matheny to Present at National Association of Securities Professionals Symposium as Part of Colonial's External Diversity Initiative

New York, NY, March 1, 2017 - Colonial Consulting, LLC, a leading investment advisor with a core focus on non-profits, is pleased to announce that Angela Matheny, Head of Diverse Manager Equity, will be presenting at the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) Mentors Luncheon & Career Symposium. NASP hosts the Mentors Luncheon & Career Symposium for undergraduate students interested in finance, business, and the related fields as part of the organization鈥檚 Future Financial Professionals Pipeline initiative. The event will be held on March 10th at Citigroup located at 390 Greenwich Street in New York City.

The event exposes students to a variety of roles within the industry from diverse representation from large firms, emerging and minority- and women-owned firms, as well as the public sector; provides students an opportunity to hear from professionals who encourage their success through candid panel discussions; teaches early professional development through workshops and information sessions; and provides students with career and internship resources through an on-site recruitment exhibition.

Ms. Matheny will be speaking on a session covering 鈥淐orporate Expectations鈥. The session will cover points such as what do after obtaining an internship, gaining an understanding of the expectations of an internship, the corporate environment, and how to excel in the role to potentially transition into a full-time role. She will be joined by Devin Dillard, Associate, Municipal Securities Division, Citi.
